Have a look around the next time you go out. What you need to look at is the wide variety of postboxes, perched on top of poles, hanging on gates, and built into walls.
Any proficient wood or metal worker will be able to manufacture his own range of postboxes to sell at a flea market. It seems there are two types of post box buyers. The first buys based on price, only the cheapest will do. The second type of buyer looks for a post box with functionality and appearance. The first type of buyer is difficult to please, and for this segment of the market, cheap is the only way to keep them happy. For them, a cheap wooden or sheet metal post box is sufficient.
The other end of the market is where the money is. Display a selection of your post boxes at your flea market stall, and have several notices stating that you will also manufacture post boxes according to specific requirements. Keep a notepad and pen close by, to make notes and sketches.
The range on display at your postbox flea market stall should be wide enough to let clients see at a glance what you can do. This may mean a large stock in hand, but it also means more sales and enquiries.
Display your wooden and metal post boxes attractively in your flea market stall, preferably in a U shape, to encourage people to come into your stall area. This will go a far way to breaking down the initial barrier to conversation.
