Online Flea Market » Featured » How can I advertise my flea market or craft product for free?
Right. You can advertise your flea market products in all the usual ways if you like, including using some free or cheap ways like posting ads on the walls of the local grocer or clinic or community centre, popping flyers into post boxes, or using free online classifieds sites.
Displaying a little poster on the back window of your car can sometimes work well too – remember to include at least one contact detail, like a phone number or email address – both would be better.
Some sites – like this one – allow you to advertise for free too. With us you get a whole page and can have up to 1000 words describing your flea market or craft product, and can include up to three images eg a logo and two photos – or just three photos. Read how to advertise on this site for free. South Africans only.
But what if people want to see more than just three photos, and want to learn even more about your product? Well, you can include contact details like your phone number, and email address, and then if feeling secure, can invite people to see your products at your home, or let them know at which flea markets you display your products. You can at least perhaps send them a brochure in the post, or email them more information.
Another way to further advertise your products for free is to get a free Blogger blog. There’s more you can read about a free Blogger blog here, but, in short, you can go crazy writing short articles about your product, or write whatever you want really – keep a fun online diary if you want – and you can upload tons of pictures all for free.
Don’t just leave the free Blogger blog there, gathering dust, though. Advertise in other free places, and leave a link to your Blogger blog.
If you have access to the Internet, have a product, or plan to make a product you can sell, and can actually advertise for free, what’s stopping you? What’s holding you back? It’s an easy way to make some extra income, and, who knows, perhaps even a fulltime income.
If you’re not the type to go sit at flea markets selling your craft or other flea market items, but the idea still appeals to you, you can sell your items from home only. If being at flea markets does appeal to you, do both – go to flea markets AND sell and advertise your items online!
Don’t yet know what to make to sell? Browse through the pages of this site or the pages of our work at home jobs site and get ideas!
Oh yes, you can even make other extra money just from having a blog – join Google Adsense and display ads on your site – when people click the ads you earn a commission – go through the terms and conditions and program policies carefuly if you decide to do this, and never click your own ads – you could get banned from Google Adsense. You can also display products from Amazon and if people follow the link to Amazon and buy the book or product, you can earn a commission there too! You may fall in love with the idea of making money blogging, and soon be earning extra income in a variety of different ways, and not just from the flea market product you make and sell.
